Do you have a desk job or one that requires physical labor? If you have a desk job do you move a lot or sit  at your desk almost all eight hours? Do you exercise after or before work? You probably are thinking what does exercise have to do with being an entrepreneur or finding a job I love? Good health is a key part to developing yourself. Exercise is great for improving and maintaining good health.

My wife Tricia and I have started to run. We joined a group at our church made up of people who walk, jog, and run. We purchased running shoes and socks. We are shopping for running clothes. We got the app C25K pro to give us a training program. So far so good with my wife completing 2 days so far and me completing the first day.

Exercising has many benefits to your health. Here are 6 benefits of exercise:

  1. Improved self-confidence
  2. Increased creativity
  3. Improved mood
  4. Boost brain power
  5. Prevents cognitive decline
  6. Accomplish more

Everything listed above will help you in your life and career. You will feel better, be able to work hard, and use your brain to think critically and creatively. With good health you will feel more complete and energized to develop your business or find and work hard at the job you love.

Please remember to speak to your doctor before starting a new training program especially if you have health issues or a chronic illness. Find an exercise routine that works for your schedule and time commitment. Try to get at least thirty minutes of exercise each day. I have my training program three times a week plus I take walks almost everyday. I try to stand and move as much as possible during the day. Don’t beat yourself up if you falter; simply start again and continue your training.

Good health will complement you in your career. You will feel and project well-being. People will feel your energy and want to be around you. Good health will help you be successful in all that you do.

I would love to hear about your exercise routine. Please share in the comment section below.

  1. Great info!!
I don’t have time to fit going to a gym in my schedule right now, so often I will use mini workout youtube videos which are 10 min a piece. You can repeat or put a couple together for when you have more time.

I go to youtube and search the type of workout I want.
